Fariz Jafarov

Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

Fariz Jafarov was born in 1986. - In 2004-2008, he received a bachelor's degree in "State and municipal administration" at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. - In 2008-2010, he earned a master's degree in Business Management (MBA) from Webster University London. - In 2012-2014, he earned a master's degree in Project Management from the University of George Washington. In 2019-2020, he earned a master's degree in Adaptive Strategic Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. - In 2021-2022, he earned a double master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in public services at the University of Milan and Polytechnic University of Madrid.

In 2019-2022, he represented the Government of Azerbaijan in the Committee on Artificial Intelligence of the Council of Europe. - In 2010-2011, he worked as the Head of the Analytical Department at the Baku Business School. In 2011-2013, he worked as a Junior Specialist and Specialist in the Strategic Management Department of the Central Bank.


In 2013-2017, he worked as the Deputy Director Department of E-services Development and Social Innovations at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service). In 2017-2018, he worked as the Head of the Labor Relations Monitoring Center under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service).


In 2018-2023, he worked as the Director of E-GOV Development Center of State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service). On April 10, 2023, he was appointed Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) and since September 15, 2023, has been appointed to the role of Executive Director.
