Dr. Jian Pei is an internationally renowned computer scientist and a leading authority in data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and data mining. He holds multiple professorships at Duke University, including in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Biostatistics & Bioinformatics. Since July 2023, he has been serving as the Chair of Duke’s Department of Computer Science.
