Samir Rustamov
Associate Professor, Director of BSCS Program, ADA UniversitySamir Rustamov is an accomplished academic in computer science and engineering, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Information Technology and Engineering at ADA University since 2016. He is also a co-founder of NeuroTime, a company specializing in artificial intelligence solutions.
His research focuses on developing algorithms for the computer understanding of speech and text data. He has created AI-based systems for various governmental and private organizations, enabling functionalities such as speech recognition, synthesis, sentiment analysis, and automated user inquiry responses.
He completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Cybernetics and his postdoctoral research at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has held positions at several institutions, including as Visiting Faculty at George Washington University and as a Lecturer at Caucasus University. He has also contributed to research at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
In terms of education, he holds a Post-Doctorate from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Mathematical Cybernetics from ANAS, and M.S. and B.S. degrees from Baku State University, where he graduated with honors. He completed his high school education at the 117 and Republican Lyceum of Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics in Azerbaijan.
